I love making my little Elven / fern spiral rings. It's very therapeutic. I had some gemstones lying around that weren't beads but cut in the classic gemstone fashion - flat top, pointed back, undrilled and I've been wondering how to incorporate them into these rings. After a lot of trial and error I settled on a wire wrapped 'trap' design, which also happens to protect the stone from every day knocks a ring might take.
I've got a few of these in my Folksy shop now and the other shops will soon follow.
